HELFORD VILLAGE CORNWALL
Date: 27-4-22
Location: Helford Passage
Helford Village looks out on to the Helford estuary, probably one of the most unspoilt rivers in Cornwall. Littered with hidden creeks and steeped in history, Helford Village is a photographers dream with, many beautiful historic buildings and cottages squashed in this small Cornish valley. Indeed, just around the corner to Helford Village is French Man’s Creek made famous by Daphne du Maurier in her book of the same name.
Today, we took time out to visit Helford Village traveling across the Helford Estuary using our own Ferry Boat and enjoying lunch in the wonderful Shipwrights Arms. Our photographer came with us to capture the wonder of this place, even in early April.
