Based in Helford Passage in Cornwall, Helford River Boats has been around a long time managing the Helford River Ferry Boat. However, at the beginning of 2022, Helford River Boats was sold to an enthusiastic and experienced businessman whose passion is both Cornwall and boats. The new owner retained the exiting Ferrymen and staff and looked to offer additional positions to local Cornish people who wanted to be part of the business and the historic 1000-year-old Ferry that still crosses the Helford estuary. Today, the team at Helford River Boats were adding the finishing touches to the newly painted Kiosk that acts as the booking office for both the Ferry and the many hire services that the Helford River Boats team provides from kayaking, paddle boards, motorboats and rowing boat. The owner of Helford River Boats has invested a considerable sum in bringing the historic business into the modern world whilst retaining its Cornish heritage.
