St Austell was centred around the parish church, until the arrival of tin mining in the 18th century which turned it into a town. Nestled on Cornwall’s south coast, it enjoys spectacular coastal scenery, an area rich in cultural heritage, natural beauty, wildlife and of course the famous St Austell Brewery producing over a million pints of bear every month.

There is more to St Austell than meets the eye resting on The South West Coast Path that runs through Helford Passage and via the HRB Ferry connection. The South West coast path is walked by millions of people every year covering over 600 miles on its journey around the coast of Cornwall.
